Welcome to the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Government Polytechnic, Godhra. Our Diploma Graduates work in almost every technology-based industry such as manufacturing, steel and materials, automotive, electric power, chemical and petro-chemical.
Our goal for students is to provide them a high-quality engineering education that also includes hands-on experience. We strive to ensure that all our students have a strong technical knowledge along with team spirit and leadership skills, involvement in various co curricular and extracurricular activities, sound practical knowledge and internship experience. We believe that emphasizing these areas will make our students well qualified to be a good professional, take leadership roles and entrepreneurship skills in the future.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOME (PSO):
1.Apply fundamental knowledge of modern software for simple design and drafting of mechanical engineering components.
2.Apply developed competency to produce mechanical components with specified dimensions using different manufacturing processes such as forming, metal removal and fabrication.
